Valentine’s Day 2023: Best Self-care Routine To Pamper Yourself!
Valentine's Day is a day reserved for two--but don't let that stop you from loving yourself.
Irrespective of whether you're spending Valentine's Day alone, you're not the only one.
Here's the silver lining: You can do whatever makes you happy, as long as it makes you happy.

So, go dancing, lazy around, read a book, and indulge in some much-deserved me-time. Haven't you heard? Self-love is the best form of love!
Clinically, self-care has been shown to reduce or eliminate anxiety and depression, reduce stress, improve concentration, minimise frustration and anger, increase happiness, and improve energy [1][2].
What are you waiting for? Give this one self-care routine a try this Valentine's Day.
Pamper Yourself With The Best Self-Care Routine This Valentine's Day
1. Take your skincare up a notch
It's Valentine's Day, so pamper your skin!
Start by exfoliating your face and neck. Apply a DIY face scrub or a chemical exfoliator - this will help you get rid of dead skin cells - making you feel brand-new!
Next, you need a mask. If you've got oily or combination skin, you'll want to use a clay mask. It'll get rid of any breakouts and deep cleanse your pores. If your skin is dry or normal, use a face mask that boosts moisture levels.
Even better, apply a cooling under-eye mask to reduce puffiness and dark circles around your eyes. When you wait for it to set in, apply some face oil to your skin and gently massage it in with a jade roller or a Gua Sha.
2. Take care of your body too
You don't just have to mask your face, y'know. Slip into a foot mask while you Netflix and chill with yourself to exfoliate the dead skin cells and soften calluses.
Apply some cuticle oil and follow it up with a nourishing hand cream. Follow it up with a lightweight body oil, applied to your arms, legs, feet, and hands. If you're going to sleep, wear socks to soak up the goodness.

3. Don't skimp on hair care
Start by exfoliating your scalp and getting rid of dead skin cells and product buildup - you can use a clarifying shampoo or a scalp scrub.
Wash your hair with a nourishing, hydrating shampoo-use a scalp massaging brush to boost your blood circulation.
Make sure you hydrate and moisturise your hair ends with a conditioner that instantly softens and smooths them. If you really want to go the extra mile, make yourself a deep-conditioning hair mask.
4. Take a relaxing bath or a nice shower
If you are the lucky one with a bathtub - enjoy some soothing bath salts while sipping wine and listening to your favourite tunes/podcasts.
If you don't have a bathtub, just hop in the shower, put on some tunes, and enjoy the luxury.
After showering, apply a nourishing body scrub to soothe sore muscles, exfoliate your skin, and moisturise it.

NOW that you're relaxed, indulge in some more self-care with a box of chocolate, a glass of wine, and a good book or movie!
