Home Remedies For Body Acne
Anyone who has a slightly oily skin faces the problem of body acne. Here are some home remedies for body acne.
So you thought that acne can only bother you when it happens on the face? Well, unfortunately you are wrong. Acne can happen on the body as well. We have compiled a list of home remedies for body acne for you.
An excessive production of sebum leads to acne formation. Acne can affect people of all age groups. Teenagers tend to be the most affected because of hormonal changes in the body. Acne happens when the pores in the body get clogged up due to an excess of sebum.
Sometimes, factors like eating habits, sleep deprivation and even stress have a huge role to play. But there are certain ingredients that you can find in your kitchen that can actually help you if you have body acne.
Here are some home remedies for body acne that you can try out.

Oatmeal:
This is a really good remedy for all skin types. It soaks up excessive sebum and helps get rid of dead skin cells as well. For this you need powdered oatmeal with water. Just rub it on the affected areas. Do this once every week.

Baking Soda:
Baking soda helps balance the pH level of the skin and helps exfoliate the skin deeply. Make a paste out of baking soda and water and use this.

Apple Cider Vinegar:
Apple cider vinegar helps balance the skin's pH level, fights bacteria and helps reduce inflammation. This is why it is such a good home remedy for body acne. Remember to dilute it in water before using it.

Sea Salt:
Sea salt helps absorb excessive oil from the skin. Be sure that you use sea salt and not table salt as table salt contains iodine, which can actually make acne worse. Mix sea salt with warm water and use this as a scrub for this home remedy.

Tea Tree Oil:
Dilute a little tea tree oil in water and use cotton balls to dab it on the areas that are affected. This will provide some relief to the inflammation and help kill the bacteria.

Cinnamon & Honey:
Mix cinnamon powder with honey and use this as a pack on the affected areas. Cinnamon is known to reduce inflammation to a great extent.
