DIY Mouth Wash Soak For Rough Feet

By Riddhi

Cracked feet are painful and unsightly at the same time. The cracks can even collect dirt and grime later on and start looking dark. Yuck! Often our feet become the most highly ignored parts of our bodies. But that does not mean that people wouldn't notice our feet.

We have seen people with cracked feet a lot of times, and sometimes been unfortunate to experience it ourselves. Not only do they look unattractive, they can also lead to infections often, leading people to hide their feet by wearing full shoes and avoiding slippers.

It becomes very difficult to avoid slippers during summer times. Besides, the cracks may turn into an infection even more if they are always covered.

There are several reasons for rough feet, like not drinking enough water or an improper diet. Some other reasons are that the feet may not be getting enough moisture, sun damage or even ageing.

Whatever the reason, it is not a lost cause. There are several remedies you could try out to make this problem go away. And most of these are home remedies. Today we are sharing one such method with you, using just two ingredients.

Method

Add a quarter of a cup of mouth wash to warm water. You can use the cup given with the mouth wash. The mouth washes usually come with little black caps. So use that. Then add the same amount of apple cider vinegar to the mix. Adjust the temperature of the water you're using according to whatever is comfortable for you. Soak your feet in this mixture for five minutes or more.

This method is extremely soothing for painful cracked feet, because of the menthol in the mouth wash, which provides a cooling effect. And the anti-bacterial properties of apple cider vinegar get rid of any traces of infections. This soak would slowly make the dead, flaking skin fall off. It really works!
