Natural Deodorants For Body Odour
Body parts where the perspiration can evaporate does not cause problems, but parts in which bacterias and perspiration tend to accumulate infuses odour and to eliminate this we use deodorants. The basic work of deodorants to eliminate body odour is to deactivate the odour causing bacterias. More than 90% of the population uses artificial deodorants which recently have been proved to be not always safe. (find an answer to why?)
Thus, it is best to restore to natural deodorants. Natural deodorants eleminate the problem without any side effects. Lets look at some natural deodorants -
1.Essential Oils – Some of the best essential oils which make the best natural deodorants are these anti-bacterial esential oils – rosemary, lichen, sage, lemongrass and tea tree oils. The anti-bacterial property of these essential oils eleminate the bacterials before they can react with the perspiration. The best way to apply these oils is to massage it all over the body during bath. If you are scared tha the oil might stain your dress, then here is a way out – After taking bath with soap, pat dry ourself and massage your body with the essential oil. Then put another two mugs of water on yourself. The dry your skin throughly with a towel. This will keep pn the oil on your body and also prevent cloth staining.
2.Mineral Salts – Mineral salt applied on the skin forms a layer which rather than blocking the skin pores, prevents the growth of bacterias which result in odour. The mineral salts stick on to the skin for alonger time, without irritating the skin.
3.Baking Soda – Baking soda works wonders on odour creating bacterias. It doesnot allow them to grow and also helps to keep the area dry for a longer time. Baking soda has the great ability to soak in moisture.
4.Basil Leaves – Basil leaves too have anti-bacterial properties, thus is one of the best remedies for body odour. Some basil leaves are crushed or grinded and juice is extracted. This juice is then applied on the armpit. This helsp kill the germs, prevent odour and also protect your skin from summer boils etc.
Thry these four natural deodorants this summer. These deodorants not only protect your body from harmful elements but also is good for the environment.
