Wear Denim, Prevent Snakebites

Do not panic if a snake bites you, but only if you wear a denim jeans. Yes. Experts says that the thick Denim jeans is able to prevent the poison entering inside. It can protect us from the other biting animals too. So what if you are headed for a region that quarters poisonous snakes and insects which can harm us?
A sturdy pair of denim can definitely help us to prevent the bites caused by insects and animals, says William Hayes and annals emergency of Loma Linda university. Their experiments says that the venom injected to the denim covered gloves was less than the bare glove during the defensive strikes. It was reduced 60 percent for the small snakes and 66 percent for the large ones.
Hayes and Herbert also think that denim jeans could prevent the quantity of the venom by a large proportion with the help of denim covered gloves. The majority of venom was discharged on the denim cover. The large rattlesnakes always deliver 26 to 41 times more venom with their longer fang contact, when compared with the small snakes. But for both small and large rattlesnakes, the denim covering can reduce the venom quantities by a large proportion, conclude them. So they advice the populace to wear the long denim pants instead of the short ones as that could be the simplest and low-cost method for reducing the severity of the snakebites. The studies got published with the Annals of Emergency Medicine.
