The feet care
As a matter of fact it has been found that people are always concerned about taking care of their body and face, not their feet. But one must remember that feet are a very important part of the body and should be really taken care of in the summer. Be sure to wash your feet daily. Keep your feet dry and clean when away from the water, and apply a topical anti-fungal medication on any cracking or peeling.
Enjoy the warm weather and go out for a walk. It's great aerobic exercise and is considered the best form of exercise for your feet.
Just come back from a long day of sightseeing or hiking? Treat your feet to a soak in lukewarm water, a brief massage and then elevate them to take some stress off your circulatory system. Avoid the temptation to not use socks. Wear ones made from acrylic fiber and lightly powder them to help keep them dry. Remember to wear shoes that fit properly and do not wear the same shoes everyday. It will take at least 24 hours for your shoes to dry out after being worn. Trim your toenails straight across, leaving them longer on the ends of your toes. If you have diabetes, you should take extra care of your feet.
Never walk barefoot. Minor injuries can become major infections quickly and could lead to amputations. Wash your feet every day. Wash them gently, but really wash them, with soap and a washcloth. The water that runs off your body while you are standing in the shower doesn't count as washing. Then gently pat them dry with a clean, soft, absorbent towel. Do not put lotion between your toes. Discuss foot powders, or anything else you are considering using on your feet. Wear clean socks. Change your socks every day. Make sure they are smooth and they don't wrinkle when you put them on. Some people with diabetes prefer seamless socks, but socks with flat, unobtrusive, and soft seams are fine as well. Avoid socks with big seams.
Control body odour
In the summer this is a common problem that most people go through and this affects the body skin as well as adversely affects the whole system. You can use herbal flower water too, to spray your armpits with. Add a few drops of cologne to the water, if you like, in the spray bottle. Earlier in the day, use a spray deo immediately after a bath on semi-damp skin. Water makes a better spray than strong cologne because some cosmetics block the natural and necessary process of perspiration. Spray twice or thrice a day.
Some tips that do great things for you
Drink 15 glasses of water a day. You must splash your face with cold water as this can help you soak the days sweat and perspiration. Mix the fruit juice of your choice with mineral water for a healthy soda. Sinking into a tub and having a tranquilizing effect can help a lot in improving the health in the summer. Make a compress for dry, flaky, irritated skin using water. Use gauze dipped in tolerably cold water. Apply on affected area and leave on for 10 minutes. Walk barefoot on grass or immerse your legs in cold water up to the knees. This increases resistance to illness. With water, remember...more is always better. Thus in this way you can fight against the scorching heat of the summer days and be able to get rid of the nightmares of the summer season.
