Maria Sharapova Announces Engagement; Here Are Her Fashion Moments With Her Fiancé
Tennis player Maria Sharapova announced her engagement with her boyfriend and businessman Alexander Gilkes on her Instagram feed. The couple shared a sweet black and white pictures on their respective Instagram feeds. Maria Sharapova and Alexander Gilkes have been spending their lockdown together and they are among the most fashionable couples. Well, these three fashion moments together will prove so.
The Couple At Vanity Fair Event
For the Vanity Fair event, Maria Sharapova and Alexander Gilkes made a stunning entry. Maria was dressed in a neon-green gown, which came from Valentino. It was a polo-neck style gown with a flared and flowy silhouette with ruffled accents. The gown featured full billowing sleeves and sheer accents. Maria Sharapova looked amazing in her floor-length gown and she upped her look with a pair of chic earrings. The makeup was highlighted by matte pink lip shade, contoured cheekbones, and shiny brows. The side-parted sleek tresses completed her look.
As for Alexander Gilkes, he wore a black-hued tuxedo that was crafted to perfection by Cesare Attolini. He paired his black suit with a white shirt and a bow and black formal shoes. Well, they looked fabulous together.
The Couple At Met Gala
Maria Sharapova and Alexander Gilkes also attended the Met Gala last year. They looked stylish together as they were dressed up for the Camp theme. So, Maria Sharapova wore a Givenchy outfit that consisted of a black-hued bodice and pink skirt. The bodice was accentuated by embellished and textural elements with a red spiky belt and pleated accents. The pink flowy skirt was enhanced by sheer touch and featured a flowy effect. She wore a stud and a dangler and carried a smart black clutch with her. The makeup was highlighted by red lip shade, contoured glossy cheekbones, and winged eyeliner. The middle-parted sleek hairdo completed her look.
Alexander Gilkes wore a colour-blocked suit. He wore a cream jacket, which had a double lapel and was from P Johnson. The crisp white shirt was from Turnbull & Asser and he teamed his attire with black trousers. The white pinned flower was from GIIN.

The couple also gave us a fashion treat with colourful outfits. With their outfits, they inspired the couples around. Maria wore absolutely eye-catching outfit consisting of a black top accentuated by big yellow flowers and yellow pyjamas with black polka-dots, and red jacket with lemon-yellow polka dots. She wore a patterned pair of socks and paired it with equally vibrant slippers. She wore statement cat-eyed frames and a printed headband. The pink lip shade and sleek blonde tresses rounded out her look.
Alexander Gilkes wore a black Chanel jacket and dark violet pyjamas with pink polka dots. He teamed his attire with black and green shoes. The orange and pink square frames upped his look and he completed his look with brown and pink cap.
