Eco-Fashion For Dogs

The other day, while channel surfing, I stumbled across our very own disaster-waiting-to-happen Paris Hilton. But other than boringly usual well-dressed Paris, it was her little pet that caught my interest. Paris Hilton's pet Chihuahua Tinkerbell has grown to be a celebrity on its own, from starring along with her on the show 'Simple Life' to the endless red-carpet appearances. What makes it all a huge deal is the way Tinkerbell is dressed at all times, in its various diamond collars, jackets and plush baskets that it is carried in. Celebrity lifestyles have bought a new dimension to the pet care, now it is no longer what you wear but also what your 'doggy' wears has been catching all the fuss and attention.

The latest in the currently hot fad happens to be the 'Eco-fashion' for dogs, quite interesting because now the canine is once again trailing its master in his fight for the environmental cause. Featuring an entire range of clothing dedicated to the trend, are the Tees from rock 'n' roll tours and iconic pop culture favourites, the doggy-style garments will make any four-legged friend the talk of the neighborhood.

The best bit, however, is that the range uses only recycled, vintage and discounted materials, ensuring that all garments are one-of-a-kind and that the collection is entirely eco-friendly. What more could man's best friend want? In simpler terms 'Eco-fashion' refers to stylized clothing that uses environmentally sensitive fabrics and responsible production techniques.

To add a new angle in the dimension is a company which has introduced 100% cotton pet tee shirt silk-screened with the message to stop global warming. So now we can expect our little best friends to trot around spreading the message of environmental awareness and how to be Eco-friendly. Not bad, man kind along with dog-kind is progressing.
