Initial Signs Of Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is generally caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). This cancer starts in the cervix. Some of the factors that increase the risk of this cancer are: engaging in unsafe intercourse practices with multiple partners, obesity, smoking, oral contraceptives, pregnancy and even genetic factors.

Generally, the symptoms of cervical cancer are not so evident in the beginning stages and therefore it is tough to diagnose it. But as the cancer spreads to intestines or liver, symptoms start showing up.
