Does Spicy Food Blast Stomach Problems?
People simply love to include spices in their wish list for food. Well along with the flavour and aroma they add some thing else also. And it is stomach problems. Though spicy food might be the best in taste but they can simply lead to the worst stomach problems. Some raw spices and not the processed ones are a rich source of vitamins and minerals. But too much consumption of it may lead to digestive problems. That does not mean that you cannot have spicy food at all. You definitely can but only in a limited amount so that it does not cause any kind of stomach problems. Let us see how spicy food can cause health problems.

thus

Especially
chillies
contain
a
chemical
called
capsaicin
that
causes
pain
and
temporary
discomfort
when
it
comes
in
touch
with
the
walls
of
the
stomach.
That
is
why
an
intake
of
spicy
food
causes
digestion
problems.
The
harmful
nature
of
capsaicin
can
be
understood
from
the
fact
that
it
is
used
to
keep
the
bugs
and
insects
away
in
gardens.
It
also
leads
to
acidic
problems
and
loss
of
appetite.
Gastric Ulcer- Spicy foods may cause gastric ulcer in the small intestine. It is called the duodenum (duodenal ulcer). An extra amount of spices in your food may also lead to an ulcer in the esophagus. The symptoms of gastric ulcer are stomach ache, nausea and vomiting. So if you have any of these its better you consult a doctor.
The chemical in the spicy food irritate the ulcer and may cause inflammation and bleeding. Avoid spicy foods completely if you have gastric ulcer and get rid of stomach problems.
Gastritis- Gastritis is mainly caused due to stomach irritation and inflammation of the stomach lining. The stomach gets irritated with the intake of spicy foods. You should not pass out occasional bouts of gastritis as indigestion. The symptoms of gastritis are indigestion, abdominal pain, hiccups and even dark stools. Get a check up if you have any of these symptoms. Completely cut the intake of spicy foods if you have gastritis as it can worsen your stomach conditions. An excessive intake of spices may also lead to light fever and loss of appetite.
Get rid of stomach problems completely by cutting the intake of spicy food. And if it is tough for you, then do this slowly as spicy food leads to many health hazards.
