Chikoo ice creams, specially are high calorie and high energy ice creams. In order to cut-down on the calories, we use skimmed milk in the preparation. Chikoo Ice Cream Recipe – Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1. 4 chikoo fruits (peeled, seeded and sliced)
2. 1/2 cup sugar (powdered)
3. 1 tsp gelatin powder or other suitable stabilizer
4. 2 cups skimmed milk
5. 1 cup cream
6. 1 cup milkmaid or any condensed milk
7. Oil

Chikoo Ice Cream Preparation:
1. Mix gelatin in water, add chikoo and sugar. Bring it to boil.
2. Blend milk, cream, condensed milk and boiled chikoo pieces in a blender.
3. Pour the mixture into ice cream moulds and put in freezer.
4. Serve the tasty Chikoo ice creams (sapota ice creams) immediately.

You can even add other fruit slices the same way and relish different ice cream flavors at home.
