When Is Papamochani Ekadashi 2024? Papamochani Ekadashi fast is known to worship Lord Shri Hari and get freedom from all sins. It is said in Hindu religion that the person who worships Lord Vishnu Narayan with true devotion and devotion on this day gets complete blessings and is also showered with wealth and grains by the grace of Goddess Lakshmi.
Papamochan Ekadashi fast is considered very important in Hinduism. This is the last Ekadashi of the whole year. Ekadashi fast is observed to Lord Vishnu Narayan and Mother Lakshmi. This year it will be celebrated on 5 April 2024. It is believed that those who observe the fast with a pure mind and devotion, are liberated from sins and disease defects in the knowledge of their birthplace. Papamochani Ekadashi 2024: Date, Time
According to the Hindu calendar, this year the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month will start on Thursday, 4 April 2024 at 04:16 pm and will end the next day on Friday, April 5 at 1:28 pm. Keeping in mind the Udaya Tithi, the fast of Papamochani Ekadashi will be observed mainly on 5 April.
Papmochani Ekadashi Significance
Devotees observe fast on this auspicious day to seek forgiveness for public happiness, peace, prosperity, attainment of wealth and for freedom from sins committed knowingly or unknowingly in their previous life or present life. The importance of this fast was personally explained to King Yudhishthir by Lord Shri Krishna himself and it can be found in Bhavishya-Uttar Purana. Papamochani Ekadashi falls during Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. Papmochani is made from a combination of two words, Papmochani, its literal meaning is the one who eliminates sin. Ekadashi fast is observed to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Hari and to get freedom from all sins.

• Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya.
• Om Bhurida Bhuri Dehino, Ma Dabhram Bhurya Bhar. Bhuri Ghedindra Ditsasi.
Om Bhurida Tyasi Shruta: Purutra Shur Vrutrahan. Aa no Bhajasva Radhaasi.
• Om Hreem Kartaviryarjuno Naam Raja Bahu Sahastravan. Yasya smarena matren hratam nashtam cha labhyate.
• Om Narayanaya Vidmahe. Vasudevaya dhimahi. Tanno Vishnu Prachodayat.
