Hartalika Teej 2023 Puja Samagri: Hartalika Teej is celebrated on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Hartalika Teej worship should start with the worship of Lord Ganesha and after that, Shiva-Gauri should be worshiped during the Pradosh period. Then items of Solah Shringar are offered to Mother Parvati.

The term Hartalika Teej is a combination of two words 'Harat' and 'Aalika', which means abduction and female friend respectively. . Legend has it that a friend of Goddess Parvati took her to the thick forest so that her father can not marry her to Lord Vishnu against her wish.

On the auspicious day of Hartalika Teej, you can use makeup ingregriends dedicated to Goddess Parvati such as Mehndi, bangles, toe rings, kajal, anklets, bindi, kumkum, vermillion, comb, mahoor, suhaag puda, mirror etc.
Hartalika Teej 2023: Panchamrit For Puja
You can make Panchamrit from ghee, curd, sugar, milk and honey and use it during Hartalika Teej puja.
Hartalika Teej 2023: Essential Puja Materials Or Puja Samagri
Wet black soil or sand, Panchamrit, Aank flower, Tulsi, Nada, clothes (green colored saree and bangles for Maa Parvati), different types of fruits and flowers, sweets for offering, Kalash (clay or brass), Kumkum, camphor, lamp, paan, betel nut, batasha are used during this puja. On this day, temporary idols of Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva are made from wet clay or sand.
