Vinayaka Chaturthi 2023 Date: How Worshipping Lord Ganesha In The Right Way Will Keep Your Miseries At Bay
Vinayaka Chaturthi 2023: In the Hindu Calendar, each Lunar month is associated with two Chaturthi tithis and it is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The Chaturthi after Amavasya or New Moon during Shukla Paksha is known as Vinayaka Chaturthi.
Devotees fast on this day to get the blessings of Lord Ganesha so that their pain and misery go away and happiness and prosperity

Vinayaka Chaturthi 2023: Date And Time
This year, Vinayak Chaturthi in the Kartik Month will be observed on Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik Month will start on 16 November at 12.34 pm and will end on the next day i.e. 17 November at 11.03 am. Hence, Vinayaka Sankranti is on 17 November.
Vinayaka Chaturthi 2023: Worship Method Or Puja Vidhi To Remove Obstacles
Vinayaka Chaturthi is also known as Varad Vinayaka Chaturthi and the term Varad means 'asking God to fulfill any desire one has'. Any devotee who observes fast on this day is blessed with wisdom and patience. It is said that Ganesha Puja on Vinayaka Chaturthi should be done during the afternoon or midday. Here is what you need to keep in mind while doing the puja.
On the day of the puja, wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and light a desi gheen earthen lamp in front of Lord Ganesha. Also, you can offer him colored laddus. Once the puja is done, perform the aarti of Lord Ganesha and then take a vow to keep the fast after worshipping the deity.
You can chant these mantras while doing the Puja.
1. The Shaktivinayak Mantra- "Om Hreeng Greeng Hreeng." This should soothe you and bring you closer to Ganesha and you should repeat this mantra a few times.
2. The Vakratunda Mahakaya Shlok Mantra- "Vakra-Tunndda Maha-Kaaya Surya-Kotti Samaprabha Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvadaa."
3. The Siddhi Vinayak Mantra- "Om Namo Siddhi Vinayakaya Sarva Kaarya Kartrey Sarva Vignha Prashamnay Sarvarjaya Vashyakarnaya Sarvajan Sarvastree Purush Aakarshanaya Shreeng Om Swaha."
Also, it is believed that doing Kirtan for Lord Ganesha and reading Ganesha Chalisa is said to bring numerous benefits to the family. In the evening worship again Lord Ganesha and offer him prasad. On the next morning, you can perform the aarti of Lord Ganesha, worship him, offer him prasad, and break your fast. Apart from this, you can also engage in charitable works and donate as per your wish.
