The Mansarovar: Mysterious LIghts That Glow On The Lake At Brahma Muhurta
Manasarovar can not be called a lake at a high altitude and dismissed at that. It is not just a natural expanse of water.
It is a mysterious phenomenon which has posed challenges to the common man who is not at all able to decipher the secret.

The entire scientific fraternity have been stunned several times, watching this phenomenon and no explanation has been offered by the best scientific minds. Here are some mysteries recorded by the devoutfolk.
While Lord Shiva is in the form of Kailash Mountain, Parvati is in the form of the Manasarovar lake. They are the male and female identities of Lord Shiva.
During the full moon light, Bhagwan Shiva descends into Manasarovar along with Parvati. Holy dip of the divine couple can be seen only those whose intentions are pure.
Some of the devotees say that they have seen them taking a holy dip but some others say that they have seen some unusual ripples in the sarovar during Purnima. Every month during Purnima there is a heavy crowd that gathers here due to which one has to book slots near the lake in advance.
During Brahma Muhurta devotees show eagerness to take a holy dip here because of the magical phenomenon that occurs here at this time. Between 2:30 a.m. to 3: 45 a.m., people who take a holy dip here have noticed some celestial lights on the lake.
This as per yogic scriptures, is an ideal time to wake up and indulge in spiritual practices. It is the time when gods are awake and bless your spiritual efforts completely.
During Brahma Muhurat,. Shiva and Parvati, and other gods along with saptarshis descend into the lake. When the saptarshis leave the place after the holy dip, is when you see the twinkling mysterious lights on the lake. Many have viewed and experienced this phenomenon.
There is one more experience recorded by a few devotees. One of the devotees was asked to lie down on the grass next to the lake and assume shavasana. Soon he felt several beings entering his body and leaving it continuously.
The beings finally carried his body towards the lake. Within an instant, temperature of the body rose up which felt like a 1,000-Watt electricity passing through the body.
He also felt as though something hot was placed on his head. So the guru placed some ice cold water about six inches away from his head. which started boiling in an instant.
Despite uncomfortable weather conditions, the lake is really calm. Whereas the Rakshas Tal, good weather or bad weather, it is always turbulent. Manasarovar is round shaped whereas the Rakshas Tal sarovar is crescent shaped.
Mansarovar's waters are sweet and fresh whereas Rakshas Taal waters are very salty.
The mysterious lights are seen only at Brahma Muhurta. Stay awake from 2.30 am to 3.45 am to be a witness to this event.
