Sage Suta has laid down the eightfold way to gain the grace of Lord Venkateswara.
1. To show and ensure Sneha Bhava (the feeling of friendliness) towards his devotees.
2. To serve the Bhagavat Bhaktas (his devotees) to their satisfaction.
3. To perform puja and worship Lord Venkateswara with sincerity
4. All the actions of the oneself are to be directed towards Bhagavan (Lord Venkateswara)
5. To bring about devotion and love in the eyes and other sense organs of one towards Lord Venkateswara.
6. To hear and contemplate about the Lord's glories and give importance to whatever was said, described, sung or taught about Him.
7. To have the name of Srinivasa (another name of Lord Venkateswara) on one's lips, thoughts and heart always.
8. To dedicate oneself to Lord Venkateswara to seek absolute refuge in Him.

Those who even have a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara have an awe inspiring experience that leads to the satisfaction of gaining a lasting familiarity and closeness to Him. Those who think of Lord Venkateswara even out of sheer curiosity, greed, love for material wealth etc get transformed with a new outlook towards life and morality.
