Sathya Sai Baba Miracle-Heart Disease Cured

A Sathya Sai Baba devotee narrates a miracle of Baba, of how the heart disease of a little girl was cured.

The narrator happened to be when Baba was once giving darshan in Prasanthi Nilayam. As Baba walked amongst the people, a small girl of about five years old, was trying to handover a letter to Him; perhaps her mother would have written it down for her. On receiving the letter, Swami just crumpled it and threw it down, nonchalantly.

The narrator wondered at Baba's response to the little girl. He being compassionate, what could be the reason for turning down a little child's prayer?

When the narrator made to his native for summer vacation, he got to hear about the child. The little girl who handed over the letter to Baba, was said to have been ailing from heart disease, a hole in her heart. The mother lost all hopes when Baba crumpled the letter and threw it down. She took it as Baba disregarding the issue.

The child was admitted in the Sathya Sai Baba Super Specialty Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam, where the result of diagnose matched with the result of the previous diagnose, elsewhere. A date for the heart surgery was fixed. The little girl was rolled in a wheelchair for the final tests to be carried out, before the heart surgery. On testing her, lo! The doctors were surprised to find the absence of the hole. The child's health was perfect to the joy of the parents. They took their child home with gratefulness surging in their hearts.

The narrator says that one cannot pierce through with reason to find the ways of Sai. If one can, it is only out of His Grace, which allows one to take a peep into his magical ways.

If one can discern a possible significance, it could be that He crushed the disease as He crushed the letter. He gave life to a little flower.
