A Prayer To Ramana For Ramana

Nataraja Iyer has recorded in his ' Leaves From The Diary' of an incident. Bhagavan was then suffering from severe hiccups. Natarajan Iyer despite the fact that his leave had expired with that particluar day, wished to prolong it in order to attend to Bhagavan. Bhagavan inquired of his prolonged stay and on the very day his hiccups subsided after having vomitted. However traces of it showed up.
As per His instructions the kitchen staff prepared a special remedy that put an end to the menacing ailment once for all. Bhagvan then said that a devotee named Seshu Iyer had prayed for the relief of the hiccups and the most striking part of the prayer was that it was addressed to Bhagavan Himself. The place was flooded with laughter with the devotees following Bhagavan.
Bhagavan thus answered the prayer of Seshu Iyer and relieved Natarajan Iyer of his proposed and prolonged leave from work.
