When You Are Energy Others Can Smell You

When you are around some people you become centred, you become calm. You say you can feel their energy. You want to stay in that energy field. With some others, you find that their energy disturbs you. You want to run away.

Energy calms; it does not excite as people imagine. The centre of energy is like the centre of a storm. There may be chaos all around but the centre is calm, undisturbed. It is the energy of the potential. It is energy that is not dissipated.

This is the energy of a Master. This is the energy that you feel in a place of worship, in a church, in a mosque or in the presence of a Master. Your inner chatter reduces, calmness descends and you feel a sense of peace. When energy becomes kinetic, when the expression of energy becomes explicit, it is no longer peaceful and calming- it is turbulent.

When expressed without awareness it can be violent. The dance of Shiva, the tandava, can still be kinetic and rejuvenating. It is the dance of the greatest of Masters. It is a dance of awareness. It is a movement without purpose which is why it is so powerful and at once peaceful.

When energy is expressed without awareness and with ego, when energy is expressed with future wants in mind or with past experiences in mind, such energy can be disturbing and destructive. It is no longer the energy of the present moment. It is already contaminated with guilt, greed, regrets and fears. At its worst this is the kind of energy expressed by Hitler or terrorists.

When you are truly energised by the cosmos, when you are guided by the universal energy, you will be moving without expectations. You will be willing to accept whatever happens. Situations resolve themselves and solutions present themselves. No intervention is needed. Logically, this cannot happen. It can only happen when one transcends logic.

One can be open to this energy of the universe only when the ego falls, when the mind drops. By definition, this energy cannot be of any use to boosting one"s identity, be it in terms of possessions, name and fame or relationships. It happens when you detach from expectations and when you unclutch from thoughts.

It is simple to find out if you radiate energy. People around you will welcome your presence as they feel centred around you, more peaceful, unstressed and relaxed. They would want to be with you. Let them smell you and find out.
