Sakat Chauth 2024 Remedies: According to the Hindu calendar, Sakat Chauth is celebrated on the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Magh month. Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Magh month is also called Sakat Chauth, Sankat Chaturthi or Tilkut Chaturthi. This year the fast of Sakat Chauth will be observed on Monday, 29 January. On this day, mothers observe a fast for their children, worship Lord Ganesha, and offer Arghya to the moon in the evening.
Worshiping Lord Ganesha and Moon God on the day of Sakat Chauth brings happiness and prosperity to the seeker. On this day, women keep fast for the long life and good health of their children. Even if you have not observed Sakat Chauth fast, still do these measures on this day.

1. On Sakat Chauth, after moonrise at night, fill a silver or brass pot with water, then add raw cow's milk, intact and white flowers in it. After that, remember the Moon God and offer Arghya to him, pray for the removal of your troubles and for the happy life of your children.
2. Wear green colored clothes during the worship of God on this day, green color has special significance in the worship of Lord Ganesha. During the worship of Lord Ganesha, offer Durva (grass). Also, if possible, offer 11 or 21 Durva knots to Ganesha. It is believed that by doing this one gets the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
3. On the day of Sakat Chauth, devotees should keep cardamom and betel nuts in front of Lord Shri Ganesha and worship him, this will remove all the bad luck in life.
4. On this day, recite Ganesh Chalisa and perform Aarti, by doing this all your wishes are fulfilled.
5. On this special day, the mantra 'Om Gan Ganpataye Namah' should be chanted 108 times. It is believed that by doing this, all the sorrows of the person go away and the wishes are fulfilled.
6. During the worship of Lord Ganesha on this day, he should be offered laddus made of sesame seeds and jaggery. With this, the blessings of Lord Ganesha remain upon you. 7. On the day of Sakat Chauth, one must go to Ganesh temple and have darshan of Lord Ganesha. By doing this, the obstacles in a person's career are removed and there are also chances of progress.
7. If there is any kind of worry in your mind or you always feel stressed, then on the evening of Sakat Chauth, chant the mantra 'Om Som Somay Namah' while offering Arghya to the moon. By doing this your mental stress goes away.
