PM Narendra Modi Offers prayers At Parvati Kund: Know Its History And Significance
PM Narendra Modi has recently begun his day-long visit to Uttarakhand and has offered prayers at Parvati Kund in front of the Adi Kailash peak in Pithoragarh district while donning a local traditional white tribal dress and turban (Ranga Byathala).
According to the reports, PM Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country to visit the Adi Kailash area and offer prayers with full rituals there and the pictures of his visit are going viral for all the right reasons. Let us know more about this place.

About Parvati Kund In Uttarakhand
Parvati Kund is 20 kilometers away from the border of China and devotees often flock to worship the deity under the supervision of the Indian army. Also, if someone plans to visit this place, they can only do that after taking online permission.
Parvati Kund or Parvati Sarovar Adi is near Mount Kailash. Every person who is on a pilgrimage to Adi Kailash first visits Parvati Kund and receives blessings for the journey ahead. It is believed that by pleasing Goddess Parvati, one also gets the blessings of Bholenath or Lord Shiva.

As per the reports, there are reports of developing this small village Gunji as a big Shiv Dham in the next two years. It is expected to become the biggest and most important stop after Dharchula for the devotees coming to visit Mount Kailash View Point, Om Parvat, and Adi Kailash.
Gunji village is situated on the safe land of Vyas Valley, where there is neither danger of landslide nor flood. At present only 20 to 25 families live here. With an increase in tourism, these families come across more employment opportunities. From the right side of Gunji goes the path to Nabhidhang, Om Parvat and Kailash View Point, while from the left side goes the path to Adi Kailash and Jolly Kong. This is about to become a perfect spot for pilgrims and tourists.
