India is a country that is always decked up with numerous festivals and events, and since it is November, two of the prominent ones are Diwali 2023 and Chhath Puja 2023.
This is the time people not only engage in rituals, burst crackers and decorate their homes, but they also make extensive travel plans to celebrate the festival by travelling to their native places via bus, train, flights, etc. This year Diwali will be celebrated on 12 November 2023 and Chhath Puja will be celebrated on 17-20 November 2023.

So, amid a surge in people wanting to book confirmed train tickets, but failing to do so, Indian Railways on Tuesdays has decided to make your favourite festivals more special and has decided to run festival-special trains on Diwali and Chhath Puja.
