Navratri 2023 Day 9: Shardiya Navratri has started and devotees are elated to worship Goddess Durga who is the embodiment of Shakti and feminine energy, with full rituals. Not only the Durga idols are installed but, devotees pray, worship, and keep fast for the goddess to get the choicest of blessings.

On the third day of Navratri, Goddess Siddhidatri is worshiped on the ninth day of Navratri and she is associated with wealth, prosperity and success. She is said to fulfill all aspirations. This year, Navratri has started on 15 October 2023, therefore, the ninth day will be on 23 October 2023, according to Panchang.

According to religious scriptures, Goddess Siddhidatri is depicted with four hands holding a chakra (discus), mace, shankh (conch shell) and lotus. She is shown weather on either a fully bloomed Lotus flower or a Lion as her mount or vehicle.

Maa Siddhidatri Puja Vidhi
On the ninth day of Navratri, take a bath in Brahma Muhurta, wear clean clothes, and sprinkle Ganga water after cleaning the puja room. Install the picture of Moon and Goddess Durga where the Kalash has been installed. Apply Akshat and Tilak on them. Light a lamp and incense in front of the Goddess's picture and chant aarti and mantra. Chanting the Goddess's mantras brings good fortune. You can offer Maa Siddhidatri pink color flowers. You can wear purple-colored clothes while doing puja. Also, you can feed young girls on this day.

You can offer her Til laddoo (Sesame seeds sweet) and it can be made with jaggery, ghee, elaichi powder, and sesame seeds. Also, you can offer her Puri, black gram, kheer, and coconut.
