In a penumbral lunar eclipse, the color of the moon becomes dull. Along with this, the Moon does not appear to be cut off and the Earth's direct shadow does not fall on the Moon. In this the Moon appears blurred, this is called a penumbral lunar eclipse.

Sutak period is not valid due to penumbral lunar eclipse. For this reason, there will be no bad impact on Holika Dahan and Holi festivals and the festival can be celebrated easily.
