Kanwariyas chant Bol Bam and there is an interesting story behind it. Legend has it that Lord Shiva beheaded Daksha in a fit of rage when Mother Sati sacrificed her body in a yagya performed by King Daksha. After this, in order to revive King Daksha, Lord Shiva attached a goat's head to him.
Lord Shiva liked the speech that came out of Daksha's mouth because of the goat's head being attached to the king and due to this, Bholenath's anger also subsids. As a result, Daksha's pride was shattered. This is the reason why Shiva devotees chant Bam-Bam Har-Har Bam-Bam, Bol Bam to please their beloved Lord. In the month of Sawan, to get the blessings of Mahadev, the kanwariyas definitely chant this.
