Why Chanakya Niti Tells You Not To Be Embarrassed In These Four Situations

Acharya Chanakya's advice to humanity has forever been relevant to past present and future generations. Chanakya was the foremost expert in life and self management with statesmanly acumen and an economist who led the Mauryan empire to its height of glory. His tenets on life management is even today a beacon light for those embroiled in the difficulties in their loves and holds a mirror to the problems and their solutions of human life.
He has important sermons for kids as well. Although he had a mysterious aura around him, his tenets could be applied to practical life perfectly. Listen to what he has to say about when to feel ashamed and when not to feel ashamed about things what you do. We usually feel embarrassed to do certain things in life. While you really need to be embarrassed about certain things in life, you do not need to really bother about a few other things although we are living in a civilised society. Chanakya has pointed out at somethings about which we should never feel ashamed as we are bound to repent later for getting embarrassed.
Acharya Chanakya has mentioned four such instances you do not actually need to be embarrassed about. Let us analyse these four instances one by one.
Don't Feel Embarrassed To Work
It is a widely known fact that everyone works for money and money is something without which we can never survive. Our happiness depends upon the level of our finance and all of us want to be happy in the end. Peace and prosperity are the mantra which people recite all through their lives. Everybody works for a wage and they find ways and means to earn it. One should not think that working for something is beneath his dignity and he is above all such irritating options, If one feels ashamed to work he is bound to lose heavily in life due to it as sitting idle does not pay a penny.
Do Not Hesitate To Ask Some To Pay Back Your Loan
Another instance where you need not be ashamed is when you ask someone for repaying the amount that you loaned out to them. If you feel embarrassed to ask them, then you cannot retrieve your money back and you will lose a lumpsum.
Do Not Shy Away From Asking For Another Serving Of Food
Thirdly hunger is a common problem that bothers every one from rich to the poor. When you are invited to some one's house, and served some thing nice on your plate, you are allowed to ask them for another serving if you are hungry or want more of the dish. If you feel shy to eat or ask for another morsel, due to shyness or extreme embarrassment, the loss is yours, entirely. One should never remain hungry and hunger should never be suppressed.
Don't Hold Yourself Back From Learning What You Don't Understand From Your Guru
Doing a mistake while learning, a subject from the Guru, is not a grave error which should not be avoided at any cost. Instead, you should accept that one cannot progress without learning from the Guru and you have to make mistakes while trying to learn something from the Guru. Feeling shy or embarrassed to make mistakes and feeling hesitant to ask the Guru for solving your doubts is a huge loss as you will miss learning that important information you can get without even having to try. Do not be shy about making mistakes as it is a guide and Guru who can make you knowledgeable. You are not a good student if you are hesitant to ask questions.
