This time, during the Bhoomi Pujan ritual conducted in Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi, on one of the propitious Tuesdays, the Hanuman Dhwaja or pataka was worshipped and then on the next day Bhoomi pujan was started.
The 'Ramarcha' puja is actually not so much of a regular puja; it can be considered more as a yagnya which involves the recitation of 'Ram Katha' and 'Ram Dhun' which is to be carried out by certain number of priests brought in from holy places. For Ramarcha Puja in Ayodhya, around 11 priests from Varanasi and Ayodhya were called and it took them 6-7 hours to complete it in the Janmabhoomi complex. The Ramarcha yagnya can be conducted at home as well.
