Maha Shivratri 2023: Surefire Remedies Or Upaye To Be Followed

Out of the total 12 Shivratris in a year, Mahashivratri is celebrated on the Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of Phalgun masa. Other Shivratris that occur in a year are called Masik Shivratris. This was the day of divine communion between Lord Shiva and Parvati. He is known to have appeared in the form of a jyotirlinga at midnight on Shivratri day. Hence Mahashivratri is celebrated on this day and this time it is arriving on 18 February 2023, a Saturday, which is today. There are certain surefire remedies that would help ease the troubles in the life of a Shiva devotee. Here they are.
1. On Shivratri, a parad Shivling of Parad should be installed with due rituals and worshipped daily. This enhances your income.
2. Donate grains and cash to a needy poor person or donate sugar at a Shiva temple on this day. Past sins will be destroyed by donating to the old. This ensures good supply of food grains to your home and also bestows peace to the departed ancestral souls.
3. Write Om Namah Shivaya on 21 Belpatras using Sandalwood and offer to Shivling while expressing your wish to him.
4. Smear water mixed with sesame seeds and chant the panchakshari mantra Om Namah Shivaya. This will give you peace of mind.
5. Gift wedding items to a married woman to sort out your marital woes. Wedding items should be red saree, red bangles, kumkum etc. This ensures long life for the husband and cordial marital relationship.
6. To ensure happiness and wellbeing, offer green fodder to Nandi at the Shiva Temple. This will spell the end of troubles.
7. To get rid of debt and financial problems, smear the Shivling with sugarcane juice on Maha Shivaratri. Lord also bestows salvation
8. Offer sesame and barley to Lord Shiva on this day as offering sesame destroys sins and offering barley enhances happiness.
9. Please Lord Shiva by reciting Hanuman Chalisa on Shivratri. This rids you of any existing problem. If you are experiencing troubles in job or business, worship a rhinestone Shivling with water, milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar either at temple or at home. Do not forget to chant Om Namah Shivay mantra at least one rosary.
10. If getting rid of financial difficulties is on the topmost of your mind, then worship Shivling and sprinkle it with lentils while chanting 'Om Rin Mukteshwar Mahadevaya Namah' 108 times.
11. On the day of Shivratri, offer milk mixed with saffron on the Shivling so that marriage happens soon if it is delayed.
12. If anything is bothering you, for example, your marital life is not upto the mark, then write that " I am happy in my marital life. Things are peaceful," in a paper and bury it outside home on Mahashivratri. Plant a seed in this place and water it daily.
13. It is very auspicious to get Rudrabhishek done on the day of Mahashivaratri, It is done with Yajurveda mantras and hence your wishes are surely fulfilled.
14. One more magical remedy is to clean a five mukhi Rudraksha with water, dry it, keep it in left hand, close it with the right hand and tell your wishes to it. Keep it safely and have a look at it once a day.
15. Feeding tiny flour roundels to fishes and meditating on Lord Shiva at the same time, will bring in wealth.
16. Holding one black pepper and seven black sesame seeds in your palm, tell Lord Shiva your wishes and offer it to the Shivaling. Your wish certainly will be fulfilled.
