Chanakya Niti: Some Wise Sutras To Get Ahead In Career And Business
Chanakya had a way with every problem and every solution that works. He has compiled his gems of advice in one of his great books Chanakya Niti. He knew the ways of the world and came up with exactly what needs to be done to get what you want. He probably was like a Rishi who could see the problem instead of just understanding the problem, and solve it in a way unheard of and intelligent. Let us see what needs to be done to achieve success on the career and business front.

1. It is important to keep self-interest aside when an issue has arisen at workplace. Forget your selfish goals that induce you to make use of the situation to your advantage. Team interest should be your foremost preference. But Chanakya has something important to say when you wish to finally decide what should be done with the problem and how it should be dealt with. You should gather the opinions of all the team members no doubt, but take a decision keeping your interest in mind. Because you are deciding on behalf of everyone and that impacts everybody and everything. So give them time to put forth their ideas and decide based on what suits you as well.
2. Give your honest efforts in finding solutions to the problems, do not escape or avoid or shy away from problems. Solution is reached only when the first step towards this is taken. The first step does not straightaway lead to the hundredth step which is the solution. It is only after 99 percent failing steps, that we are able to reach the hundredth step at one go. Secondly there is no problem that does not have a solution. Every problem comes with a solution and we have to find the solution inside this maze and go ahead, and complete the maze game which is why they say that God does not give you problems that you can't handle.
Sometimes, the problem remains a problem. In that case we must think this is how it is solved for me. So many times, due to karmic repercussions we might not get what we deserve or we may get it in a delayed fashion. Actually that was the way our solution was designed and of course it was all our karma of the past. There is a kind of karma which is neither bad karma or good karma. It is just nothing but akarma which is doing nothing at all. This does not give any results. Anyhow trying although failing on and off, is a great way to start journeying towards the solution
3. When you say you will do this tomorrow, it always certainly means that you won't be doing it at all. That is the power of procrastination. To achieve success, the hard work should begin the moment you take the decision to do it up to the final step of getting positive outcomes.
If you aim at doing something tomorrow do it today so that your continuous stream of efforts works seamlessly to help you reach the destination. Procrastinating leads to a chink in the effort as it disconnects the stream of hard work from your ventures, and never leads you towards the end of the tunnel. Never interrupt your efforts with laziness as it impacts your attitude to work.
