Beyond Makhan Chor: 10 Lesser-Known Stories From Krishna's Childhood
Buddhism-Introduction (Contd)

So let us have a short discussion over it: If it would have been so. He would not have ventured so hard in the quest of ultimate truth. He would not have given so much prominence to Pancha Sila and Arya Ashtangika Marga. He would not have given so much weight for renunciation and monk ship. He would have thought, that without the soul, the existence of the human beings itself would not be there. Without one supreme aim (God or Soul) where is the chance for the individual to meditate or desire? So he would have avoided to talk unnecessarily over those words.
Let us have a thought over: God is there. Soul is there. Is God and the Soul exist only in us? We say he is all pervading. Then why we behave so nastily with our brothren with hard heartedness, corrupt mind. Pride and Jealous? We see nowhere any kind of compassion. We differentiate one another and create quarrels, sufferings and deaths. Can we appraise ourselves as theist? Are we seeing God or soul in others? Is it not a hypocrisy? So says one, does one and think other.
Buddha is the only individual who so boldly declared without least fear the loss of compassion in one self. Craving, wanting and desires are the main cause for all our pains. Sorrows, sufferings including the births and deaths. Only by destroying these triplet and creating compassion even on animals that great supreme peace can be achieved.
Therefore before coming to any conclusion to criticize or have any negative thoughts on any doctrine or dogma one should enquire thoroughly on the subject, both theoretically and practically with a pure, impartial and an un-corrupt mind arid intellect. Only with such controlled and conquered senses, well mended and disciplined mind thoroughly purified and perfected intellect, scriptures are studied and not read. Topics listened and not merely heard. will when enquired with a real quest and not to quill, will bring out the real truth.
The path is practical and easy to practice if the quest is real. Because of this the path and the knowledge is so widely spread all over the world. If practiced as Bhagawan Buddha showed, now, here in this life while living itself, the highest silence and peace the individual will possess.
His teachings were collected, edited and divided into three main books called Tri-pitaka.
1.Vinaya Pitaka-Discipline and rules of the monastic order.
2.The Suttapitaka-Discourses, dialogues, verses and the doctrine proper as summerised below.
3.The Abhidhamma Pitaka
Presents the teachings in systematic and philosophical form.
