Ramadan is the most important month of the Islamic calendar. It is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. According to Islamic beliefs, the holy religious book Quran Sharif was sent down from heaven to earth in the month of Ramadan.
The holy festival of Ramadan has started from 12 March 2024 this year. The exact time of starting of Ramadan depends on the sighting of the moon. The holy month of Ramadan will start the next day after the sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia or India.
Does Swallowing Saliva During Ramzan Break The Fast?
As soon as the month of Ramzan arrives, there can be doubts and misconceptions regarding Roza since too much information is already ruling the internet. However, one must be aware of the truth related to the Ramadan fast.
Let us tell you that swallowing saliva during Roza is completely permitted and is even encouraged since it is a completely natural process and it doesn't mean breaking the fast. The fast is only broken when you take the saliva of another person. For this reason, one should not kiss one's partner while fasting. One should also avoid having physical relations. The biggest purpose of fasting is that people control their desires.
