Diwali 2023 City-Wise Timings: The festival of lights, Diwali is all about the significance of light over darkness. It commemorates the return of Lord Rama to his home after a 14-year exile. This day is also known as Deepawali and on this day Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.
People get up early morning, take a bath, and pay tribute to their ancestors on this day. Then they worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi and decorate them with light, flowers, and rangoli to invite deities. It is Amavasya, according to the Hindu Calendar, therefore, people also perform shraddh on this day.

Lakshmi Puja Muhurat will be from 05:39 pm to 07:35 pm and the duration is 01 hour 56 mins. Pradosh Kaal is from 05:29 pm to 08:08 pm. Vrishabha Kaal is from 05:39 pm to 07:35 pm. The Amavasya Tithi begins at 02:44 pm on 12 November 2023 and Amavasya Tithi ends at 02:56 PM on 13 November 2023.
