Chaitra navratri 2024: Full List Of Navratri Bhog Offered For 9 Days To Get Choicest Of Blessings
Chaitra Navratri, also known as Vasant Navratri, is a Hindu festival that celebrates the worship of Goddess Durga and her various forms. It falls in the Hindu calendar month of Chaitra, which usually corresponds to March or April in the Gregorian calendar.
This festival marks the onset of the spring season, which is considered a time of renewal, rejuvenation, and growth. It is a period when nature blooms with fresh flowers and new leaves, symbolizing new beginnings and prosperity.

This year Chaitra Navratri will begin on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, and continue till Wednesday, 17 April 2024. Therefore, we have listed the complete list of bhog offered during the nine days of Navratri so that you get the choicest blessings from Goddess Durga.
Full List Of Navratri Bhog Offered For 9 Days
Day 1 - Goddess Shailaputri
On the first day, Goddess Shailputri, known as the daughter of the mountains is offered Desi Ghee. Devotees seek her blessings for power and virtue on this day. This bhog reflects the Goddess' nurturing aspect.
Day 2 - Goddess Brahmacharini
On day two, sugar is offered to Goddess Brahmacharini, symbolizing perseverance and penance. Also, it represents her unwavering dedication and perseverance.
Day 3 - Goddess Chandraghanta
The third day Kheer is offered to Goddess Chandraghanta, who adorns her forehead with a crescent moon. This offering signifies purity and fertility, invoking the Goddess's protective and courageous nature.
Day 4 - Goddess Kushmanda
On the fourth day, Malpua is offered to Goddess Kushmanda, believed to illuminate the lives of her devotees with health and wealth. She embodies warmth and radiance, highlighting her ability to dispel darkness and bring prosperity.
Day 5 - Goddess Skandamata
On the fifth day, Bananas are offered to Goddess Skandamata, which symbolizes good health and vitality. This day focuses on maternal love and the nurturing aspect of the Goddess.
Day 6 - Goddess Katyayani
On the sixth day, Goddess Katyayani is worshipped she is given Honey as bhog which symbolizes sweetness and healing. It reflects the Goddess's warrior spirit and her ability to guide her devotees towards the right path.
Day 7 - Goddess Kalaratri
On the seventh day, Goddess Kalaratri, known for her ferocity, is worshipped with Jaggery (Gur) to imbibe her powerful energy. This bhog is said to remove evil and negativity and emphasizes the Goddess's fierce form and her power to protect her devotees.
Day 8 - Goddess Mahagauri
The eighth day is for Goddess Mahagauri, offering Coconut to cleanse sins and gain spiritual and worldly benefits. Further, it symbolizes purity. This act is believed to absolve sins and bring blessings for worldly success.
Day 9 - Goddess Siddhidatri
On the ninth day, Sesame Seeds are offered to Goddess Siddhidatri, for attaining all forms of Siddhis, signifying divine fulfillment. Devotees seek to attain all forms of knowledge and wisdom by honoring the Goddess on this day.
Each offering during the Navratri festival is a symbolic gesture of devotion, aiming to embody the virtues represented by the Navdurga.
