Ayodhya Ram Mandir: First Clear Pics Of Ram Lalla After Pran Pratishtha Ceremony, Idol Is Decked In Gold
The first visual of the idol of Ram Lalla is here and it depicts the deity as a five-year-old child and is decked in gold jewelry. The image was revealed to the world after the consecration ceremony at the new Ayodhya Ram temple today.
Since, the idol depicts the child form of Lord Rama in a standing position. Black stone has been used for the construction of this idol which was brought from Udupi, Karnataka.

The idol of Ram Lalla is made by a Mysore sculptor Arun Yogiraj which was installed in the sanctum sanctorum. This idol is 51 inches tall and is made to sit on a lotus flower seat in the garb griha of the temple. The total length of this idol along with the lotus flower will be 8 feet.

It is dressed in a yellow dhoti with a golden crown, and necklaces, holding a golden bow and arrow. The photos have gone viral on social media.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in a chopper and the much-awaited ceremony of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla began at 12:20 pm. He is the chief 'yajamana' (the person on whose behalf the priests perform the rituals) at the ceremony and had entered the Temple complex from the eastern gate.

PM Modi has been following a strict 11-day 'anushthan' or special ritual, that includes sleeping on the floor and consuming coconut water. He will also interact with shramjeevis associated with the construction of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. Later, Modi will also visit the Kuber Tila, where the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored.
