Avatars Of Various Gods in Treta And Dwapar Yuga
Lord Vishnu incarnated in various Avatars to preserve the peace and dharma in the universe. In Satya yuga he incarnated as Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, and Narasimha; in Treta yuga, as Vamana, Parasuram, and Sri Rama, and in Dwapara yuga as Balarama, and Sri Krishna and in Kali yuga as Kalki avatar.

Treta means a "collection of three" and is called so because so far the fifth sixth and seventh avatars of Vishnu, were seen as Vamana, Parashurama and Rama, respectively. Since three avatars were born in Treta yuga, it was called A "collection of Three" or a group of three incarnations.
At every instance, whenever Lord Vishnu incarnated, the other deities also were born to support him in his incarnation. For example, when Vishnu incarnated as Lord Shri Rama, Lord Shiva, extended his support to him by incarnating as the chieftain of his Vanara army, the Mahabali Hanuman. Similarly, it is interesting to know who Shatrughna was, in Dwaparyuga and so on. Here is a list of deities who were born during both Dwapara and Treta yuga, as given in the site bhagavanbhakthi.com.
- Rama was Lord Vishnu. And Sita was Goddess Mahalakshmi.
- Apart from this, Shatrughna was Aniruddha, the grandson of Lord Krishna. He was the son of Pradyumna.
- Ravana and Kumbhakarna were the avatars of Jaya and VIjaya the dwar palaks of Vaikunta loka. They were born as hiranyaksha kiranyakashipu, shishupala and dantavaktra, and ravana and kumbhakarna in Tretayuga,
- Indrajit in Treta yuga was born as Dushasana in Dwapara yuga.
- Kaikeyi was a bit of a demoness. She had an element of Demon Nikuti in her.
- Trijata was the daughter of Vibheeshana, although she was a demoness, she was close to Sita during her ashokavan stay because she lent her extensive support to Sita and Rama. She made the ashokavana stay a little more tolerable for Sita. Due to this punya, she was born as Krishnas sister, Subhadra in her next birth in Dwaparayuga,
- Trijata's son was Kabandha, who had huge arms that were cut off by Lord Shri Rama in an encounter. He was a Gandharva in his last birth.
- Taataka: Taataka of Ramayana times was the Putana of Mahabharat times later.
- Manthara: she was an apsara and also the wife of Kali ( the personification of Kali Yuga).
- Chitrangada was Shachi, the wife of Indra who was born as taara, the wife of Vaali in Treta yuga. Vaali, incidentally, was Indra himself in his last birth. In Mahabharata times, she was Arjunas wife. Here Arjuna was Indra in his last birth.
- Out of Vatapi and Ilvala who were killed by Sage Agasthya, Ilvala was born as Rukmi, the brother of Rukmini Devi in Dwapara Yuga.
- Mainda and dwividha were vanaras in Tretayuga but they were Ashwini Kumaras in heaven and also previous incarnations of Nakula and Sahadeva.
- Angada was Chandra and jambavan was yama's incarnation.
- Shabari was an apsara in her last birth.
- Vanara sushena was Lord Varuna in his last birth.
- King Bhagadatta of Mahabharat times was Kubera in his last birth.
- Jatayu and sampati were the sons of Aruna, the charioteer to Sun.
- Kakasura who troubled Sitadevi during Rama and Sitas exile, was finally blinded in one eye by Rama who shot an arrow at him. He was Indras son, Jayanta, as per the site bhagavanbhakthi.com.
