There are auspicious dates in the month of August for Annaprashan of the child at home - 21, 23 and 28 August. Muhurta for Karnavedha Sanskar - 21 and 24 August.

Auspicious dates for buying vehicles are - 21, 24, 30 and 31 August. The auspicious time for the purchase of a property is 17, 26, 27 and 31 August.
