What Are The Key Factors Of A Healthy Relationship?
Who doesn't want to know the secret ingredient for a healthy relationship? However, when we look around, most of the time we witness failing and unhealthy relationships and therefore it becomes hard to spot or find the essential elements that make the bonding strong between partners.
No relationship is smooth and therefore, when partners do not feel connected, almost any content can make a fair ground for a fight. This comes from insecurities that a person feels while in a relationship or as an individual. The blood-boiling arguments can be about anything from spending too much, not washing the dishes, to not throwing the garbage and more. But, it is never about the fight but the underlying emotions that make one question, 'how much they are truly involved in each other's lives?'

There is no rulebook to make a relationship work, but being open and staying honest can help one solve problems immediately. While all relationships are unique there are three major components that make them truly healthy, let us know about them.
1. Being Available For Your Partner
Being accessible in your relationship will keep it healthy. This means paying attention to small things such as being sensitive to the issues or concerns shared by your partner, paying attention when they are communicating and reaching out to you and more. Even if there is a fight between the partners, and when one is trying to offer an olive branch in a time of crisis or disconnect, try to be open about that instead of showing negative emotions. Being available for your partner doesn't always mean doing something tangible, it can simply mean being available for them and vice versa. It always feels good to be validated by your partner and through this, you can increase your accessibility.
2. Staying Connected By Responding
This is one of the crucial elements when it comes to maintaining a healthy relationship. Therefore, when your partner reaches out to you, respond to them. In case, you are not able to do because you are engaged in something else, let them know that their issues are important to you as a way of reassuring them. Do not block each other out of give a cold shoulder, because it will only make the situation worse and as a result, your relationship can become extremely messy. To keep the bonding strong, hear each other out and address the problems, This will help you both to stay connected with each other.
3. Staying Emotionally Engaged
In healthy relationships, emotional engagement is essential and love is an essential part of it. The more connected partners are, the stronger their bond becomes. Even if there are arguments and fights, it will be easy to overcome them and get past the insecurities. If there are issues in your relationship, pause for a moment to think about the underlying issues and address them instead of indulging in blood-boiling fights. If you create a place of wholeness in your relationship and not just need, then you create a haven where two individuals are capable of loving each other.
