Is 'Happily Married' Always A Lie?
"Happily married is not a fairy tale, it's a choice." Today there are very few couples that are content with their relationship, but that does not mean that a perfect and happy marriage is always a lie. Every marriage has its own problems and differences, but understanding and proper communication between partners can help make the marriage successful.
Most couples do not have the patience to work out their relationships and the time to discuss their differences; these are the major reasons for many marriages that end up on a bad note. After studying a few couples a list of do's and don'ts for a successful and happy married life were made.

The top five of the list were as described below:-
Always Trust
The major issue that can either make or break a relationship. Trust is even more important than Love. Most of the happy married couples greatly trust each other, which decreased the arguments over petty issues. Trust should be balanced; less of it can cause insecurities and end up in fights which may even include repeated and baseless accusation of cheating.
Bridge the Communication Gap
For any relationship, communication is very essential. For a happy couple, it is important to be aware of what is happening in each other's lives. For better understanding of each other's dreams, problems, likes and dislikes, communication is a must.
Shed the Ego
One of the major reasons that marriages break down is the ego. The male ego might get hurt if the wife is more successful and famous in the society. The female ego might come in the marriage's way if she feels underestimated by the husband. They blame each other for everything that turns out bad in the marriage which ultimately affects the marriage in an adverse way.
Keep up the Romance
It sure is tough to keep the old flame of love burning when there are so many practical things to be taken care of. But for a successful marriage it is necessary to be romantic and intimate. Love and Romance can make one feel special and loved. Making Love should not just remain only for biological needs and satisfaction, it should be made special and important. Loss of intimacy plays a major role in breaking down marriages, so couples just need to find a little time to comfort each other and make it special.
Provide Space
Every individual needs a space for themselves. A cranky husband or an interfering wife can make it difficult to live happily and maintain the marriage. A couple should always respect each other's space and provide the same. The key to this is understanding each other and having faith. Marriages often break because of lack of that personal space. If your partner loves you, you should give him time and space to live his life, his interests and hobbies.
We hope these few things might help a couple to be happy. Though there are arguments in every marriage, but what is life without a tint of spice in it. The small fights and then the making up after them is the fun in marriages, not the end.
