The Ugly Seven In A Relationship

John Keats in his poem, The Grecian Urn, explained that a thing is desirable till the time it has not been achieved. Once it is in our possession, the desire and thus the charm is lost.

Same is the case with relationship. Till the boy and girl are under the spell of each other, the story is interesting, once they are in a relationship it takes only seven months for the couple to be complacent.

One aspect which clearly gives away the lack of concern is less attention to grooming. It is a widely observed fact that once someone is in a relationship, grooming does not seem that important.

It might sound contradictory because, even if not the boy, the girl should dress her best to match up with other girls fluttering around her guy. But this is not the case. Lack of grooming is the direct impact of loss of interest and taking each other for granted.

Here is both the positive and negative side to it -

1.Once a relationship have crossed the seventh month, it confirms the commitment of the relation. The couple knows that no matter how they look. They groom themselves or not, the other will be by their side.

2.A relationship brings about a maturity. The couple is able to see deeper into each other and thus the external grooming does not seem important.

3.How my partner wants me to look, keeps no importance as both have started taking each other for granted. They know that whether or not you dress according to the other, he/she is going no where.

4.What starts as a submission in a relationship, in due course of time, converts into adamant individuality. In the wee hours of a relationship, every advice is silently owned but later every advice seems to be a measure of domination.

5. Relationship come with responsibility. In the course of life, responsibility takes a bigger stand in life. Under the toil of responsibility, the attraction and charm of a relationship tears away.

The ugly 7th month, is the most sensitive time of a relationship. From there one can retreat to one's single status or can commit to hold hands forever.
