In the world of glamor and stardom, the blissful bond of marriage seems to survive just few hours. Marriage has become an institution of convenience. It's firm pillars today do not resemble anything like trust, responsibility or love. Its all the game of love, the connotes the mad wind, here once... there once. After reading the juicy celebrity life, most of you will surely think twice before tying a knot. Explore the world of short marriages that did not even celebrate their first anniversary.

Robin Givens and Svetozar Marinkovic, separated the same day they got married.

Givens, the former Mrs Mike Tyson had divorced Tyson in 1989. Eight years later she decided to give marriage a second try. The lesson? Don't drink and vow!

A close second to the list of short marriages is the union of Zsa Zsa Gabor (a Hungarian-born American actress) and Felipe De Alba (Mexican attorney and popular actor) in 1982 . It also lasted a day, but at least they got separated on different dates. Their marriage lasted from April 13, 1983 to April 14, 1983. The wedding, was declared invalid, since the actress's prior marriage to Michael O'Hara had not been properly dissolved. Alba was Zsa Zsa Gabor's eight husband. The lesson? Get rid of your last marriage legally.

Britney Spears fateful Vegas marriage to her childhood pal Jason Alexander lasted for just 55 hours before it was annulled. The reason for the breakup was that, Spears lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to marriage because before entering into the marriage the Plaintiff and Defendant did not know each others' likes and dislikes, each others' desires to have or not have children, and each other's desires as to State of residency. Nicholas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley marriage lasted for 3 months 15 days. The reason is a mystery, well if the paparazzi's had to be believed then the reason was Nicholas Cage was more interested in her father than her.

Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman marriage lasted for 5 months. Rodman claims he doesn"t even remember most of it because he got married while intoxicated in Las Vegas. He sought an annulment 9 days later. Well! The story may be the other way round too.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of such cases recorded till date, behind the silver screen. Two heart have met and separated within fraction of seconds. The marital bliss has become just another trial and error game.
