Why Heart Breaks Are Necessary
How painful it is to have your heart broken, to go through all that hurt, to realise how pointless it all was. Nothing can be more devastating.
After all the crying and suffering, there comes a day when you feel a little better. You start over a new life. Still with the broken heart but with a heart that knows how it feels to be sad.
Lies In Love Are Dangerous: Real Story Of Heartbreak
You realise it was not all bad and that it might have been a good lesson for you. Sometimes we wonder, why heartbreaks are necessary, why we need to go through all that pain.
Here is a list which explains why heartbreaks are necessary.

Heartbreaks are like stormy nights. It destroys that which is bad in order to restore that which is good. It washes away the hurtful things and leaves you with strength enough to survive the storm.
Heartbreaks let you measure the strength you've got to handle what life throws at you. You go through it to only realise that you are actually much more stronger than you thought.

There is a saying, 'that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. Heartbreaks make you stronger. To know how vulnerable you are is something that liberates you from the fear of being hurt again.
Life is not a joyride after all. It is a journey that has it's ups and downs. The sooner you get to know it, the better prepared you'll be. Heartbreaks take you to the down phase where you find out what you are made of.
Heartbreaks gives you time to reflect on your life. Look back at the choices you made and their results. You may discover many things about yourself that might have seemed insignificant before but are now the things that define you.

Why heartbreaks are necessary is because they let you heal. Life is not all roses, there will be thorns too. You might have gone through a bad patch and need time and reason to heal yourself.
Heartbreaks gives you that time and reason. Make the most of it. It shatters the rose-tinted glasses off your eyes and helps you conceive things better.
It is probably the first time that you realise you can get hurt too, very badly. And this realisation is the first step to self discovery.

Once the heart is broken, you get to know the completely other side of you which you didn't know existed. That you are strong enough to get past it and you will.
Heartbreaks make you more sensitive towards others. Knowing how it feels to be hurt will make you realise of all those things you have done that hurt others. You'll be a better person because of that.
Heartbreaks will set you free. Really. You will realise that it is better to have your heart broken than live with a lie which is much worse.
You are finally free to let go of the lie you were living and get back to reality. Isn't it a better thing?
