What You Should Not Say In An Argument
If you talk to anyone who is in a relationship, the first thing that they would share with you is this - Relationships have become harder because conversations have become texting; arguments are phone calls and ones feelings become a status on social networking sites.
It is common amongst couples to have frequent fights in a relationship no matter how strong or committed they are to each other. On one hand, there are a few people who agree that fights in a relationship only bring the bond of the couple closer.

In many relationships, these so called fights have reached the top most limits where there are couples who go berserk! Due to this, couples in relationship say the things that they usually do not mean to say, or in other words, they are forced to say it! Here, we explain to you some of the common things which couples in the past and till today say to their partners when they are fighting. When you get into an argument with your partner, make it a point to stay calm, composed and then voice out.
Lets take a look at things you should not say to your partner when you are fighting.
- If you are angry with your partner, make it a point to think before you talk. Saying something in the heat of an argument is of no use. Over time every individual goes through personal, psychological and physical changes. You should not expect your partner to be the same five years down the lane.
- You should not paint every annoying thing your partner says or does. Recognise that the problem is not the person but certain actions or words which make you feel unloved or rejected. So if you are having an argument with your partner, you need to focus on the exact words which upset you. Do not club everything together and saying things which are not necessary.
- When you are in an argument with your partner, you will say a lot of things and then apologise later for the mess you created. The most common thing in this circumstance is apologising to your partner by saying you did not mean it. Whats said is said and sharp words cannot be taken back no matter what you do to cover it up. Even if you do not mean to walk out, your partner will know that for a second you felt doing just that. Eg: Do not use slang word to each other which you might regret.
- When you are in a heated argument with your partner, try not to bring up past mistakes. If you do, it only shows that you are a person who thrives to stick on to the past and do not believe in forgiving and forgetting mistakes made by your partner. When you have already forgiven someone for something they did last time, means that you cannot use it as an excuse in the current disagreement.
- There are times when you are in a heated argument and it is very easy to say things which you generally do not mean at the spur of the moment. If it slips out in anger or by mistake, you should immediately apologise and explain that it will never happen again. Even after an apology, it may be take a while before your partner fully trusts you. It is only a normal reaction.
These are some of the things which you should not say to each other when you are in a heated fight with your partner.
