10 Lies That Men Often Tell Women
He tells you that you look amazing in that red dress, but should you believe him? The process of telling lies is both ways. Women lie to men and similarly men lie to women. And most of us agree that in certain situations lying becomes necessary. However consistent lying in a relationship is not healthy.
Sometimes lying becomes a habit. Lying in every minor matter can create huge difficulties in your relationships. Women need to know what kind of lies to watch out for, when to accept the lies and when to call off your partner's bluff.
Since the topic of trust is an important factor in matters of the heart, you need to be very careful about handling such situations. Men mostly lie either to build a positive image in front of women or to conceal something which might offend their partner. Male ego plays a crucial role over here. So, be careful not to hurt your man's ego in any manner while you find out about his lies. Here are some lies that men often tell their women.

'No, you don't look fat at all'
This is the most common lie told by men to their women. When asked 'do I look fat in this dress?' the obvious answer is 'not at all' and other flattering comments. Some men also choose to remain quiet when they are asked such a question.

'I have quit smoking'
When asked about smoking, most men have this answer on the tip of their tongue. Even if you catch them red-handed you just cannot make them tell the truth. They always come up with some or the other reason for smoking.

'We'll talk about it later'
This little phrase helps men in ending most of the arguments or potential fights. In most cases 'later' never arrives. They make sure that the topic never comes up again.

'I have a very important meeting this weekend'
If you are in a relationship for a long time, then you must be quite familiar with his work schedule. Still if he works on odd days or hours, there are high chances that he is lying. In most cases men want to go out and chill with their friends and being busy at work seems to be the best escape from their partner.

'Of course, I like your friends'
While some men really mean it, others may just say it to impress their partner. You have to be careful in observing whether he is actually enjoying your friends' company or is just faking it to be in your good books.

'Sex isn't the only thing on my mind'
Even when men try to pretend that physical intimacy is not on their minds, it surely is. Though love and marriage follow automatically when you start knowing each other well, physical attraction forms the most important part of the relationship.

'I love your cooking'
Some women are lousy cooks. Yet most of the times men lie that they love the food. This is a classic lie told by most men to their wives to keep things under control especially if their wife is fuming over something.

'I have never met somebody more beautiful than you'
This lie acts as an icing on the cake. Most women believe this lie quite easily. Men usually tell this lie when they land up in some tight situation.

'Everything is fine at work'
Men usually have a protective attitude towards their women. They don't want women to know the problems that they are facing problems at workplace. They lie to spare their partner the worry.

'Sure, I'll do the chores after sometime'
This one is to avoid housework especially if it involves cleaning up the house. They promise to do the household chores but it is you who has to finally end up doing it.
