Punish and forgive: Men are like kids. They need to be punished to make them realise their mistakes. So, if he messes up things, punish him. Don't talk to him for a few days, show your true emotions. Once he starts realising his mistake, get over it as if nothing has happened. Put him in a state of complete surprise and then forgive.

Be interdependent: This rule says that even though you are independent, stress on the fact that you need him too. But also let him know that though you need him, you are not completely dependent on him. You have other things in your life as well.
