Looks Worry Men Too

By Staff

Handsome Man
Beauty is no more ladies' cup of tea alone. Even men are worried about how they look and carry themselves in public. Studies have proved that, like women, men too worry about their looks. They are getting concerned with dandruff, hair lose and weight gain.

The reasons for this change in men can be sorted out to different factors like

1.Girls are no more with the concept of having a tall handsome dark guy, rather they want a beautiful man.

2.Girls look for a man who is clean and tidy, so men having dandruff can really turn a girl off.

3.As nice thick hair supports a man's masculine feature thus they take good care of their hair to make sure that they don't bald.

4.A man who is fit and masculine is always attractive, hence blotted waist really upset men.

When Head and Shoulders conducted a survey called 'Head & Shoulders Hair Retain Survey' they found out that, 29 percent worry about dandruff and the rest 26 percent about hair lose.

Auckland, Psychologist Sara Chatwin, says that men worry about their hair because, hair is one of the most important factors that contribute to their masculinity. Hence when they have hair lose or dandruff their self esteem gets hurt.

"Many men define themselves by the way they wear their hair. This may be due to traditional beliefs that suggest hair is associated with virility, social status, strength and youth," she added.

During Trans-Tasman's survey they found out that 63 percent of men were worried about their waist size. They are anxious about how to reduce their extended waist line.

Men grow anxious when their looks don't support their youthful heart. They feel less virile, feeble, older and not attractive.
