With the festival of love just around the corner, Drew Barrymore turns 'Dr. Drew' for the love birds. The Hollywood star appeared on a chat show to give advices on the matters of love and relationships.

As reported by the CBS News, the celebrity who has starred and produced in 'He's Just Not That Into You' , a comedy about modern day dating told the Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen that she is struggling to navigate the cyberspace dating pool. The film is based on the best-selling help book.

"I'm like a shark who somebody stuck two knives in my eyes. Like where I am going? I don't understand, like, how somebody says 'hello,' you're supposed to get right back to them. Or if they write you, do you have to write them back? Maybe sometimes I don't want to write you back," she said.

"Did you learn anything after making the film?" Chen asked.

"If you have to work so hard at it and you think it's the Da Vinci code and you're decrypting, decrypting, decrypting, get out!" Barrymore stressed.

Some of the useful tips given out by 'Dr. Drew are:

1) "Don't listen to what he's saying. Look at what he's doing. That's so much more telling than any verbal gymnastics they're going to give you."

2) "It's been a long time. He's not coming back. Move on. You're wasting time in your life."

3) "Being single is great, too, because it's, like, it's the possibility is around any corner." AGENCIES
