Do Boys Have Greater Psychological Well-being Than Girls?

The fair gender may be ahead of their masculine partners in many areas. However when we consider the psychological wellbeing, it has to be admitted that boys possess greater psychological well-being than girls.

Every person will have a totality of perceptions about themselves. This self-concept or self-identity plays an important role in the psychological functioning of everyone. In that case the physical self-concept has much to do with psychological well-being or psychological unwellness.

There is a crucial link between an adolescent's perception of his /her physical qualities and their psychological wellbeing or unwellness. This is the function of age, gender and physical activity. When the physical qualities lack, the patients were diagnosed with some form of eating behaviour disorders.

The study finds out that more than boys, girls have the disorders stemming out from looks. These disorders vary from anxiety disorder to depressive disorder. The age for anorexia or bulimia nervosa the risk period is between 18 and 23. Many boys don't have these problems at all! AGENCIES
