Do Women Value Romance Than Friendship?

Human beings are born into a society and are blessed to live as social beings. From the very birth right to the grave he is bound with multiple realms of relationships. Parents, siblings, friends, lovers, life mate, children... relationships are numberless. It is horror-some task to classify the density of each relationship and the emotional aspect associated with each. But, discriminating between friendship and romance of a woman, we have to accept that most of the times woman value romance much more than friendships.

Let me ask you few questions. Why girls get cheated in romance but not in friendships? Why women blindly trust lovers but not friends? The answer is right at the tip of your tongue. Woman at all instances value romance higher than friendships and are ready always to go to any extent of pleasing their lover just because they value romance than any relationships. When asked what is a friend, famous philosopher Aristotle answered 'A single soul dwelling in two bodies'. But if asked what is romance the answer would be, for sure, 'a single soul dwelling in a single body.

Friends of course are the elements that enhance and fulfill our life as social beings. But it is a lover or life mate who makes the life meaningful. Romance is defined as 'a strong obsession or attachment for something or someone'. A British newspaper once offered a prize for the best definition of a friend. There were thousands of entries. The winning definition read: "a friend is the one who comes in when the whole world has gone out." Event hough friendship is believed to be divine and romance, often seen as worldly, when it comes to a gradation between the two women will pinpoint romance much higher than friendship.

Any person can make a friend, even a stranger could become your friend in few minutes. But romance is the result of a complex process. Here I do not mean the mere physical attraction fueled by lust which is often misinterpreted as true romance, but the true love that emerges out of the depth of your heart. It is generally told that the most difficult task is not to reach the outer space or to conquer mountain peaks, but to find place in the heart of a woman. Women, unlike men, do not accept a person as lover as fast as men do. But once fallen in an affair they surrender themselves at the feet of the lover neglecting the entire world around them.

In friendship no women get cheated as often happened in romance. When a woman finds that the friendship does no good for her she withdraws herself from the relationship thus avoiding any kind of mis-happenings. But once the mind is offered to a lover most women hesitate to break up the affair, even though they find the relationship treacherous. Women always limit friendship beyond certain fences. But in romance they go seamless to please their lover. Time, money and even their virginity is offered to a lover unmindful of the future life.

It is a fact that women always project themselves as uninterested in romance and as if they value friends and friendship than anything else. But when a lover steps into the life no friends, no siblings and not even the parents are as valuable as the lover for them. Why more examples? Just look out to the streets and watch the lovers walking hand in hand. Can't you see girls holding the hands of lovers with dreamy eys as if they hold the most valuable possession in this world. The sparkling stars in their eyes will tell you how much they value romance and how disrespectfully they crush the friendships beneath their feet when they are in romance.
