Bake Your Cake In Pressure Cooker With This Recipe
A celebration is almost incomplete without cake and we do not deny this fact. Whether it is a birthday party or someone's wedding, you will always find people cutting and enjoying delicious cake. Well, believe it or not, the pandemic and the lockdown has somewhere compelled people to bake and enjoy cake on their own.

Right from the beginning of the lockdown, people have been baking varieties of cakes. It is not that you can't bake a cake if you don't have an oven. You can surely do this with the help of a pressure cooker. Today we are going to share the recipe of baking a cake in the pressure cooker.

- 1½ cups of all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- ¾ cup of sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

- Grease the caking making tray with ghee or butter.
- Dust the tray with flour or place a parchment paper.
- Add salt in the pressure cooker and spread evenly.
- Put a stand over the bed of salt in the pressure cooker.
- Cover the cooker and heat it on a medium flame.
- Meanwhile, add sugar, vinegar, milk and melted butter along with vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Stir well to mix everything. Make sure you keep stirring till the sugar dissolves.
- Now add flour, baking powder and soda into the mixing bowl and mix well.
- Make sure you mix until the flour gets combined with the rest of the things.
- Pour the batter into the cake tray and knock the tray to make sure the batter sits well.
- Now wear kitchen gloves and place the tray inside the cooker over the stand.
- Remove the weight and gasket of the pressure cooker lid and close the cooker.
- Bake the cake for 50 minutes on low flame.
- After 50 minutes, turn off the flame and open the cooker.
- Wear gloves and take a toothpick or a knife.
- Prick into the cake and take it out to see if the toothpick comes out as it is. If yes, then the cake is ready, else you need to bake it for some more time.
- Now, let the cake cool down for at least 10-15 minutes.
- You can now decorate the cake with your preferred icing and serve it by slicing the cake.
