You may compare it with ‘Godh Bharai’ but it is little different in its presentation. Here, elders bless the girl and she is served with all the foods she likes.

This is one of the rituals performed for a Indian women during pregnancy. Basically, in previous era it was performed as a puja with demand of a male child. But today, such rituals should not have any values than just a ceremonial occasion.

Neyyu Kudikkan Konduvaral
